Going Bananas

The Savannah Bananas are unlike any baseball team we’ve ever experienced (in the best way!) and attending their game last year was definitely a highlight of our summer at PFS! We anxiously counted down the days until it was time to go again for another Pockets Family Fun Night!

The weather looked iffy as we awaited the big game but as Charity of the Night we crossed our fingers and boarded the party bus.

The game was slightly delayed due to an initial downpour, but once the skies cleared the night was perfect! Not to mention much cooler than our previous July visit.

The Rays all had an incredible time, cheering, watching the plethora of entertainment (the bananas are closer to attending the circus than a regular baseball game) and of course eating all of the popcorn, hot dogs and baseball snacks their hearts desired!

The Rays have a wonderful time together no matter the activity but a night dedicated strictly to fun is always welcome!
