Fun in the Sun for Everyone 2022!
It’s that time of year again and we could not have been happier to once again be hosting the best kick off to summer there ever was!
After a cancelled 2020 event and moving 2021 to September we were thrilled to once again be hosting Fun in the Sun in early June.
Over the years it has become the unofficial start to summer as we have many families who attend and teachers who volunteer once school is finally out for the season. It was so nice to be back to our preferred time and see so many familiar faces as well as meet lots of new ones!
Watching this event grow over the years has been nothing short of magical. In fact I am not sure if I could pick my favorite aspect even if pressed. I love meeting new friends,
hugging old ones,
watching relationships blossom,
watching a participant try something new,
watching parents beam with pride as their family members enjoy the day
seeing the joy literally everywhere you turn,
and of course I love watching the pure magic of someone standing up on a surfboard for the first time…even if it ends in a wipe out :)
