Charlotte Brings Home the Gold!

We were so excited earlier this year when one of our Rays qualified for the Special Olympic World Games! Charlotte was one of only two special olympic athletes from the state of South Carolina who would be traveling to Germany to compete in the World Games.

Our excitement only grew as Charlotte prepared to leave for Berlin. The Rays screen printed special t-shirts that Charlotte designed herself and even tried their hand at kayaking to see what they thought of her chosen sport!

Having the chance to compete in the World Games is incredible enough, but our girl Charlotte brought home a GOLD MEDAL!!

We are SO proud of her!

And we aren’t the only proud ones…the town of Bluffton wanted to celebrate her win and threw her a well deserved coming home parade!

We loved cheering her on and getting our first hugs from our very own Special Olympian Gold Medalist! Way to go Charlotte, you are amazing!!
